We are giving hearty thanks to Government Engineering College, Gandhinagar for providing us this opportunity for taking this kind of practical project which would be an asset for us for our future carrier and We are also very thankful to all who have directly or indirectly supported us in completion of this project. Proper organization of concept and analysis of the system is due to keep interest and helping hand of our faculties and colleagues.

We are taking this opportunity to express our gratitude and to thank all they helped us in this project. “Learning is a continuous process” and at this moment, we hardly have enough words to express our gratitude toward those who were constantly involved with us during our project period.

The guide performs their role of path shower. Under the shade of proper guidance, a person can shape his untouched talent. Thus, our special obligations remain due towards Prof. Prashant Chaudhari Guides with those valuable supports, guidance and inspiration, the completion of this project would not have been possible who has provided us and guided me through all the phases of our project work, and done much beyond my expectations to bring out the best in us.

Finally, we are thankful to our friends who were always there to support and help us whenever needed.

Main aim of Image processing project is to extract important data from images. Using this extracted information description, interpretation and understanding of the scene can be provided by the machine. Main point of image processing is to modify images in to desired manner. This system allows users to take hard copy of the image using printer routines and provides option for users to store file in to disk in different formats. In other words image processing is called as altering and analysing pictorial information of images. In our daily life we come across different type of image processing best example of image processing in our daily life is our brain sensing lot of  images when we see images with eyes and processing is done is very less time.

In existing system there are many techniques which are available for extracting information from images but there are no exact processing is defined.
Chapter 1:IntroductionIntroduction To System
Image processing is a method to perform some operations on an image, in order to get an enhanced image or to extract some useful information from it. It is a type of signal processing in which input is an image and output may be image or characteristics/features associated with that image. Nowadays, image processing is among rapidly growing technologies. It forms core research area within engineering and computer science disciplines too.

Image processing basically includes the following three steps:
Importing the image via image acquisition tools;
Analysing and manipulating the image;
Output in which result can be altered image or report that is based on image analysis.

There are two types of methods used for image processing namely, analogue and digital image processing. Analogue image processing can be used for the hard copies like printouts and photographs. Image analysts use various fundamentals of interpretation while using these visual techniques. Digital image processing techniques help in manipulation of the digital images by using computers. The three general phases that all types of data have to undergo while using digital technique are pre-processing, enhancement, and display, information extraction.

Digital image processing allows the use of much more complex algorithms, and hence, can offer both more sophisticated performance at simple tasks, and the implementation of methods which would be impossible by analog means.

In particular, digital image processing is the only practical technology for:

Feasibility Study
Technical Feasibility
The following technology is generally used as:
The Feasibility of Applying Image Processing Technology to Surveillance in the Small or Medium-Sized Airports. The small or medium-sized airports are generally lack of airport surface movement detection equipment due to the insufficient financial budget in early and latter investigation of airports constructions or facilities. The paper studied airfield surveillance in the small or medium-sized airports by image processing technology and also discuss diverse surveillance sources in large airport. The analysis include: physical installation of video sensors, range of surveillance coverage, the flowchart of processing, the algorithm for detecting and tracking the moving objects which is suitable for environment of airfield in airport, the projection method between video image coordinate and airfield plan coordinate and the evaluation index of image processing technology.

Economic Feasibility
Economic feasibility analysis is the most commonly used method for determining the efficiency of a new project. It is also known as cost analysis. It helps in identifying profit against investment expected from a project.

Operational Feasibility
Proposed System is beneficial only if they are turned into Information Systems that will meet the organization’s operating requirements. This test of feasibility asks if the system will work when it is developed and deployed. Are there any major barriers to implementation? The following factors suffice for considering the given project as operationally feasible.

As the System is going to be developed at the place where it is going to be implemented, the track of the operations related to the software is constantly monitored by them and sufficient support is available.

Requirement Of System (Functional and Non Functional)
The system will require an installed MATLAB and application of MATLAB to run this software.

Project Estimation
The Project is required to be finished within a 6 month.

The cost of the project is still to be estimated.

The installation of system will be challenging task
Chapter 3: Future Enhancement
Imaging can be defined as the representation of an objects external form. That definition no longer holds true. More information within an image can be considered. Fluorescent tags, mechanical-biological parameters, internal structures are some of the recent additions. Fabrication while imaging and the characterization of materials as yet undefined can also be part of imaging. The extremely small images can be measured in nanometres also. Future imaging systems are expected to be less expensive. They will have to be easier to use. There are various types of imaging systems such as those used for chemical, optical, thermal, medical and molecular imaging. The use of scanning techniques and statistical analyses for image analysis are needed to extract valid image values. The satellite applications programs of the future will be based on extensive research in the area of imaging. A number of different sensors will be used in the satellites orbiting the earth. Scientifically useful information will be extracted from these systems. New techniques will be needed to organize and classify the different sets of data obtainable from the orbiting satellites. The future trend in remote sensing will be based on sensors that can record the same scene in many different ways. Graphics data will be important in image processing app1ications. Satellite based imaging for planetary exploration as well as military applications will be the future trend. Biomedical applications, astronomy, and scene analysis for the robotic vehicles are also pertinent areas of future applications of imaging4. Adaptive search of large image data bases will become the norms, since video and graphics data will be available from a variety of sensors developed for remote sensing applications of satellite systems. The design and coordination of microscopy imaging techniques for research in molecular biology is gaining importance.
