Plan
of action chalked out by the IQAC in the beginning of the year toward quality
enhancement and the outcome achieved by the end of the year.
ACTION PLAN: 2016-17
The
Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), a post-accreditation quality sustenance
measures was established in our college on 22nd June 2016 with the
following members,

3. HoD’s of All Dept. : Members
The
cell has become part and parcel of the institution’s system and it operates
towards reaching the goals of quality enhancement in higher education. To
justify its existence, IQAC is expected to canalize the efforts and measures of
the institution towards academic excellence.
The
education plan of the academic year 1016-17 was chalked out by the IQAC based
on the goals and objectives of the Institution.
The
area of the focus included,
o
To encourage the faculty to go for the higher education.
o
To motivate the staff to publish the research paper &
also help them to attend workshop (TA/DA etc provided from the college).
o
Faculty need to take a technical & Non-technical session
regularly for the welfare of the students, the same need to follow by the
students, it develops the personality of the students.
o
To get more UGC grants for the development of UG & PG
Departments.
o
To get the campus connected with the Wi-Fi network.
o
To meet twice a year to chalk out programmes and to measure
the quality enhancements achieved.
o
To have at least one seminar or workshop should be conducted
by the department.
o
To have lesson plan prepared and to make them a weekly
exercise.
o
We have a teacher guardian so that Dept. can concentrate on
individual students.
o
To enhance the placement quantum of the students by
enlisting more and more recruiting firms.
o
To encourage more IT/Construction firms to have on the spot
training given to our students on the line of MOU signed with them and also
having consultancy with these firms.
OUTCOME
ACHIEVED
o
We have 104 staff member.
o
Maximum faculty members are post graduated (97)
o
Seven faculty members are PhD holder.
o
Based on the syllabus prescribed by University in RTMNU,
three books were published by the staff member.
o
The main library in our college is partially computerized.
1. Objective Of The Institution
Providing Quality Education By,
o Giving access to high quality value
based education.
o Imparting knowledge and skills to
all the learners irrespective of caste, creed, religion or wealth.
o Developing personality traits.
o Equipping the staff through needs
based training and ensuring the continual growth in the system by teamwork and
periodical reviews.
o To encourage the students to
participate in sports activities to further this overall personality
development and also provided the coacher to sharpen their sporting abilities.
Activity
Reflecting goals and objectives,
o By conducting FDP program by the
outside agency.
o Conduction of ICS training and soft
skill program for the UG & PG students.
o Encouraging and permitting the staff
to attend refresher courses, by the way of sanctioning of delegate fee,
registration fees and transportation charges etc.
o Implementing the teacher guardian
scheme for the students and continuous monitoring.
o Conducting the remedial program for
the weak students (Extra Classes/ Seminars).
o Publishing the paper in journals and
conferences& attending the Workshop and present the technical and
non-technical seminar to the students so that students can be exposed to the
latest developments in the concerned subjects.
o Use of audio visual equipments in
teaching (LCD Projector).
2. Innovation In Curricular Design And
Transaction
o This college is a non autonomous
institution, following the syllabus prescribed the University of Rashtrasant
Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University. Semester system continues with Credit Based
Choice System (CBCS) is implemented.
o Many faculty members are Academic
Council committee members who take the necessary initiatives to modify the
syllabus according to the present changing scenario and having lot of faculty
are UGC approved, they take part in University Exam Paper Valuation &
Moderation and also prepared the Question paper for it.
