Mexico is a country between the U.S. and Central America that’s known for its Pacific and Gulf of Mexico beaches and its diverse landscape of mountains, deserts and jungles. Ancient ruins such as Teotihuacán and the Mayan city of Chichén Itzá are scattered throughout the country, as are Spanish colonial-era towns. In capital Mexico City, upscale shops, renowned museums and gourmet restaurants cater to modern life. Mexico’s population is at about 127.5 million people.
Mexico is a very remarkable place that brings so many good things to mix in with American culture. Without out the amazingly good and tasty authentic food that we got from Mexico then we wouldn’t have the places we have today like Mi Casita or El Cactus. They brought in so many new things to our culture and the way went eat and what our diest would consists of. Some mexican ways also changed the way we cooked some foods. Not only did it affect us in a food sense but in a language sense too. I wouldn’t be able to take a class like Spanish I, II, or III today if it weren’t for anybody from Mexico.
Mexico has many different points of interest. It is a very beautiful place and it has many new things to introduce to you. Mexico also brings many new workers to the U.S and that allows us to make more jobs and up the employment rate exponentially. Mexico’s president is Enrique Peña Nieto. He was born on July 20, 1966. He is 51 years old. Enrique served as Governor of Mexico from 2005 to 20011 but then later was elected and officially became the President of Mexico in 2012. He is a big politician of the Institutional Revolutionary Party as well. He plays many important roles and parts in the way Mexico works and the way they handle things.
There are many different traditions and cultural moves in Mexico. Family is one of the most important elements in Mexican society, Especially outside of cities, families are typically large and Mexicans are very conscious of their responsibilities to immediate family members and extended family such as cousins and even close friends. Hosting parties at their homes plays a large part of Mexican life and making visitors feel comfortable is a large part of the values and customs of the country.
“Family units are usually large, with traditional gender roles and extensive family involvement from the external members who assist one another in day to day life,” Wagner told Live Science. Soda is a very popular drink in Mexico, as the country has a well-developed beverage industry. As you can tell Mexico is a very unique place and it is full of good traditions and cultural aspects. They bring very numerous amounts of good thing to American Culture.
