We Should Have Free College Education
A college education has become a requirement in everyday life. Students throughout the country are focusing on their education & trying their best to get the best grade possible. Putting up the money on each student’s education has become very difficult in today’s economy. So many students, teachers and citizens wonder if free college tuition will ever be granted. The reason why I believe free college should be given and given money by the government because it will help students focus on their studies, and encourage them to work harder in school. “Should we have free college?” is a question that is very relevant today more than ever. People may have different opinions about this question but it deserves the pros & cons, alternatives and potential benefits that could come from it.
First, free college tuition should be given to students because it will help students to mainly focus their studies. Most college students usually have part-time jobs and are full-time students. They must depend on their job, as much as their education, to be able to pay for all necessary books and classes that they are needed to take. These jobs take time away from the student’s study time. If free college tuition was given, students would have more time to educate themselves, plus be well rested instead of being tired from their jobs. They wouldn’t have to worry about money or time at all. They would be prepared for their classes and not worry about their own financial situation or other issues related to their personal education.
Secondly, I believe free college tuition should be given because there are students from poor families that work hard in school and deserve the opportunity for a college education. Some students who get excellent grades in school don’t have enough money to continue their education. They spend so much time and effort on school work that they earned the right to receive free college tuition. Lack of money should not stop a student from completing their education, but mostly their dream to become whatever they want to be.
There are a handful of students who work hard every day in school, but never have the chance to go for a degree. The lack of money should never stop a student from gaining success in any school. By students not going to school, they are having their dreams shattered at a very young age, which is completely unfair if the only reason is money. In today’s community of people, it is getting very hard to be approved for a loan that will cover a good amount of the tuition costs.
Even if you get a loan, some of the rates are completely unacceptable. Free tuition will allow poor students to work hard in community college for the possibility of (money given to good students to help pay for college) when they move onto a four-year college. The only way they can prove themselves is by first attending a community college.
Also, if free college tuition was given, many students would be given a reason to work harder and try in school to get accepted into colleges. There would be a large increase in student grades and this would encourage our whole (group of schools/way of teaching) to dedicate themselves to make many smart and college prepared students. Free college tuition is a good thing that would not only calm our country’s loyal students, but also help them and their current financial situation.
A high school diploma is no longer enough to make sure that Americans have the skills they need to move into the good-paying careers they love. By the end of this ten years, 65 percent of all job openings will require an education or skills training beyond what any student receives in high school. In fact, 11 of the 15 fastest-growing occupations will require a higher education.
I believe free college tuition should be given because there are students from poor families that work hard in school and deserve the opportunity for a college education. Some students who get (excellent/very unusual) grades in school don’t have enough money to continue their education. They spend so much time and effort on school work that they earned the right to buy/own/receive free college tuition. Lack of money should not stop a student from completing their education, but mostly their dream to become whatever they want to be.
Education is a very important factor in our country. I believe students should be able to participate to receive free college tuition for lots of reasons. Free college tuition will have many positive effects on our student’s studies and help with their financial situation. Our country’s government will be investing in our future leaders, doctors, and teachers who will make our country an even better place to live. This is a plan that should be incorporated. It would be an amazing decision that would give many opportunities to millions of our countries outstanding and trying students.
If the government and tax payers were to pay for public universities and colleges, there would be more inspection into where tuition money is going. Universities wouldn’t be allowed to run their institutions like a business. Less money would be spent on unnecessary items such as increases in the president of the college’s salary, increases in athletic funding, among other things.
Finally, I think free college tuition should be given because the government would be investing their money for a worthy cause. The government would not be wasting their money, but spending it for our future. The money being gave money (to) would help educate our country. Many people will have more chances to get into school and have their education paid for to become doctors, lawyers, nurses, and for many other jobs/lines of work. Most students would finish their college education and this will eventually pay off because our country will have many smart, full of knowledge workers. The money invested in college tuition would have many clear effects making our country an even better place to live.
