researchers have attempted to identify cognitive processes central to creative
cognition.An appropriate, well-accepted, operational definition exists for creative
cognition: the production of something both novel and useful.
(Jung,Mead,Carasco,Flores,2013).Unlikely to start of human civilization and human
reasoning processes people known a lot of things about technical measurements,
scale etc. How people think about their imagination has no limit when they think
about that is not met before or never seen and touch before like reading something
that is new to them?Human brain have infinite imaginary when no boundaries. Our
imagination is the pristine power of human mind has long been recognized by the
greatest thinkers.Considerable research was dedicated to imagination as a concept
(Osborn, 1953).For example people who know play chess A and people who have not

isolate the essence of designing and to write it down as a standard method ,or
recipe,that can be relied upon in all situations according to (Jones,1970).It is

Designing should not be confused with art,with science or with mathematics.It is a
hybrid activity which depends,for its successful execution,upon a proper blending
of all three and is most unlikely to succeed if it is exclusively identified with
anyone according to research investigating mean and process of design (Jones,
1970).Design processes shape to knowledge,world-view,personality and etc.But has
some main notions for example ‘Reflection-Action’ it explain with design review
progress between teacher and student or employer and designer this response
reinforces the divergence between research and practice.The process of reflection-
in-action-and especially, the particular version of it that I call reflective
conversation with the materials of the situation-is an essential part of the
artistry with which some practitioners sometimes cope with uncertainty, uniqueness,
and value-conflict in all domains of professional practice research based on studio
experiment (Scho?n,1983).
And another thing important is the design research. Design research concerned
with the physical embodiment of man-made things,construction as a human
activity,concerned with the embodiment of configurations,systematic search and
acquisition of knowledge related to design and design activity.Design
methods,researches people were looking at rational methods of incorporating
scientific techniques and knowledge into the design process to make rational
decisions to adapt to the prevailing values, something that was not always easy to
achieve. They were attempting to work out the rational criteria of decision making,
and trying to optimize the decisions.(Bayazit,2004).
According design process,researches and products tools have very important role
of the creative design.Design discipline is dominated by a variety of physical,
digital, conceptual, literal and hybrid tools. Whether suppressed or exposed,
developed or borrowed, simple or complex tools dominate design activity. This paper
aims to provide an in-depth analysis on design relevant issues and their contextual
interpretations while enabling an insight on the nature of design behavior.
(Koknar.,Erdem.,2007)The tools of a given age and practice are revealing indicators
not only of that discipline’s achievements but also of its aspirations and
limitations (Piedmont-Palladino, 2007).Design process influences
material,tools,time.Design model based on a set/variety of tools and ever evolving
subjective designerly strategies on their implementations will provide a
comprehensive picture of any particular design process. The model is based on the
assumption that designing subject, as a team or a person, uses tools to design.
Hence we may represent a semantic relation: ‘subject ! tool ! object’. This
relation may be written alternatively as’ f(subject)=object’. The function
signifies design tool. If the ontological meanings of subject, tool and object is
studied thoroughly an indirect picture of design activity may be available to
further study and analysis of design activity and design process that are used
during this activity. The methods, techniques, objects, cognitive machinery,
algorithms, representations, visualizations, knowledge base, precedents,
visualization tools, moods, and environments mediating between designer and
designed object are transformed or adapted as design tools.(Koknar.,Erdem.,2007)
However with time material changes,notion of the usefullnes changes to nowadays
sustainability important to world ,human life and future one point free
designs,expressionist form,artfully designs can’t be make the real life and they
exist just a line.
So in design process a boundary,obstacle on process which every designerly
thinking individual eventually confronts, between the limits of conventional
practice and the insecure and expansive territory of innovation.So design activity
is a continuous act of debating and negotiating innovation with convention.
Designing is a natural behavior of expanding conventional wisdom into innovative
research, always dealing with the limits and boundaries of average knowledge of
doing things.(Koknar.,Erdem.,2010) Action of design natural behavior but has to
move with the time.As the world becomes more complex day by day and human needs
changes with technology so action of designing changes to.Because of to
tool,needs,future.So design activity needs a route one point and it became real
with education.Knowing about all parts of design process and all scales and etc.
enhance manufacturing,decrease book value and carbon footprint.Designs become more
real and more environmental.Especially became more suitable for now and future
beside the abstract,expressionist design.
It is clear from the brief summaries provided on technical knowledge about
design process and information about thinking of design affect creativity in design
process because of limits imagination.However, the role of technical knowledge and
adaptation of time is important to construct to useful designs. As, there is no
doubt that knowledge influences creativity in design process greatly, it is not
wrong to argue that education play a major role in people creativity and point of
view. Still, it is important to note that further design should study the
interaction between knowledge and creativity interaction to understand design
process better.
