between the team members would be occur such as communication problem. In order
to avoid the problems, project manager is act an important role to manage the
team and make sure that the project can be done within time, budget and meet
requirements of organization. Other than that, team building also can help in
improving the relationship between the team members. An interview was conducted
to PanoRazzi SDN BHD in order to gain the knowledge of method to manage a
project. This paper is discussed in details about the project management of

learning experiences. Formal learning takes place within an officially

semi-structured interviews and short survey were conducted among 31 project
managers. Most of experience is studied from informal on-the-job learning.

different skills from their first learning experiences compare to learn from
later learning experiences. Both hard and soft skills are learned by project
managers from their experiences. Experience is act as an important role for

is an important capability for project manager to lead the group members as
well as to motivate and act fair toward them. The lowest competency was
evaluated as production efficiency with statements concentrated on the
distribution of obligations, the effective usage of sources and the
organization of tasks. Analytical thinking was chosen by respondents as the
willingness to improve the most. By having the analytical thinking, respondents
can carry out a lot of solutions to solve the problematic situations. Besides
that, achievement drive is evaluated as the most important desirable
competencies for a project manager. Hence, there is important for the
organization to encourage their project managers in improving their
competencies in order to manage and achieve the successful of project.

the coding is the most important skills as a project manager. When the
programmer facing the problems or feeling stress to exposed the coding, project
manager should be encourage and motivate them don’t be easy to give up. Project
manager should be set a realistic goal to carry out a project and must conduct
a weekly or monthly review sessions to discuss the progress of detail and make
sure that follow the deadline and stay motivated to do their part. With coding
knowledge, project manager can communicate directly and explain in details
about the progress of project to the clients.
